Happy Healthy Bernedoodles

I don’t remember a time without a dog in my life.   At one point I was involved with Dalmatians, both showing and obedience. When my kids were little,  two Goldendoodles became part of the family and accompanied us to the kids activities and were my hiking partners.   I found over the years my passion was more on the family pet than the show dog.  

Learning the importance of good genetics and proper socialization is an ongoing journey, and I strive to utilize that knowledge to give each pup the best start to life.   ‘Early neurological stimulation” is started at 3 days old and continues through the first weeks, with ongoing handling and introduction to new activities, textures, sounds and environments.

We are located on 55 acres on the edge of Ottawa. We have room for the dogs to run and trails  to keep the dogs active and engaged. Our dogs typically have mud, leaves, sticks attached to them, as they spend many hours outdoors playing and chasing. After an active day of play, they then want to snuggle at your feet, or think they are lap dogs and try to get as close as possible for belly rubs. The dogs are first our family pets and are part of the household, and though it is crowded at times and we need to vacuum a lot,  we wouldn’t change it.
